This Unreal Engine project was created as part of a demo presentation to showcase how a single environment can be transformed into multiple scenarios. The scene explores how changes in lighting, materials, weather effects, and vegetation can dramatically alter the atmosphere of the same location.
Starting from a marketplace environment as a base, I created four different variations of the scene using mostly sublevels. Each version introduces a unique atmosphere and scenario, including environmental changes such as weather conditions and overgrown ruins.
By switching between the sublevels, the same location can transition seamlessly between different visual states. This technique works particularly well in immersive experiences, where environments can change dynamically while maintaining the same spatial layout.
